Cozy Grove tasks players to take on the role of a Spirit Scout and to travel to a haunted, ever-changing island. Each day, players will venture into the island’s forest, discover new ghosts and friendly faces, complete new tasks, and otherwise enjoy themselves. Like other life sims, Cozy Grove features crafting, customization including decorations, and useful jobs like fishing. There’s something fun to find in Cozy Grove with every visit.

In addition to the more standard aspects of life sims, Cozy Grove is also promising a substantial campaign for players to experience. Details about the campaign are thin, but Spry Fox says that it’ll feature 40+ hours of content including side-quests. Even outside of the campaign, there should be “months of playtime” to experience in Cozy Grove.
Spry Fox is already well known for delivering comfy experiences that can be played for extended periods of time. The release window of Cozy Grove offers a unique opportunity, however, as gamers across the world look for a calming game. Cozy Grove will hopefully deliver on that expectation, much as Spry Fox’s Triple Town, Road Not Taken, and Alphabear have done.
Cozy Grove is available now on Apple Arcade, with plans to launch on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on April 8.
